I've decided to go ahead and take the plunge into unschooling. I've been attracted to this approach since we started on our homeschooling journey but I guess the thought of actually doing it here in Pa with it's homeschooling law has been a bit intimidating. However, I took some action and joined up with a PA Unschooling forum. From there, I was able to find a different evaluator who looks like she will be able to help us out. I also am going to switch to a different diploma program which offers an honor program if our boys want to take advantage of this.

Change is good. And is what we've been getting a lot of these past four or five months.

growing up

Mr. Tailor applied for his first job yesterday....and was hired. We celebrated with turkey cheese sandwiches on tomato basil bread, chips, ice-cream, and a movie.

Why does time have to fly by so fast?

By the way.....he'll be working at Scout Camp this summer for about six weeks selling goods in their Trading Post store. He has never been away from home that long. Saying I'll miss him doesn't even come close to describing how I feel. Love that boy!
